"Her visit was my favourite thing this week. I liked the tornado best."

Year 2 pupil, Lytham Hall Park Primary School

"I had a lovely time when Miss Spellbound came to school. It was so much fun. I wonder if the stories are real? Like the fairy dust and snozcumber from BFG, hehehe! It was the best day ever so far in year 2."

Year 2 pupil, Lytham Hall Park Primary School

“The Miss Spellbound workshop was a fantastic stimulus for the Year 2 children’s creative writing. The children were mesmorised by the character of Miss Spellbound and were so captivated when she told them the story of her travels. The suitcase resources, filled with intriguing bottles and artefacts were wonderful. The children had opportunity to explore the contents of each suitcase and then use the ideas for their own story writing. A really worthwhile writing workshop, that led to further imaginative writing, artwork and drama activities.”

Jane Tomlinson - Year 2 Teacher, Lytham Hall Park Primary School

"The side of the Imaginarium is like a castle. The bottom is like a train and the middle is like a glowing lamp."

Pupil, Lytham Hall Park School

"The Imaginarium on the outside is not any ordinary thing. It's enchanted. It can go on land with its brown wheels. It can fly through the air. So beautiful! It is like a bird."

Pupil, Lytham Hall Park School

My story was about three brothers but they didn't know that they were adopted by an evil woman. She was actually....a witch!

My favourite story fragment was 'True Love'. My story was about a girl who wanted to find true love more than anything in the world.

Pupil, Lytham Hall Park School

My favourite bit of the day was when we did each others stories. The whole class acted them all out. I liked making the shapes with our bodies.

I was happy becuase people had chosen my story out of the whole class to act out. It was about a shadow who was really a prince, but he didn't know it.

The children are still buzzing from the workshop... produced some wonderful writing too!

Jane Kirkham - Year 3 Teacher, Lytham Hall Park Primary School

I really enjoyed it when we acted out stories as a whole class. I thought it was really nice because everybody got to take part. My story was about a young widow.
